Learn how to use the GE Stripology, Ruler and Strip Your Stash!
Cris will show you why this ruler should be a staple in your quilting room. We will be learning how to cut 101⁄2" squares with the Stripology, method. This quilt uses 21⁄2" strips and a background fabric. Don't want to buy another quilting ruler? Instructions will also be given using a regular square-up ruler like Studio 180 Tucker Trimmer I l l or any other 12 1⁄2" square rulers. Quilt pattern includes sizes from Crib to King. Shop sample is Lap size 57" x 76".

Supplies Needed:
~Ariel pattern by GE Designs
~Sewing machine in working order
~Basic sewing supplies for piecing
~Rotary Cutter- 45mm or 60mm straight handle works best
~Rotary Mat-fit by machine
~Stripology XL or Squared or any 12 ½” or large ruler
~2 ½” x WOF strips (42” useable)-30~MUST MEASURE A FULL 42" long
~Background fabric-2 yds-PLEASE BEST PRESS OR SPRAY STARCH PRIOR TO CLASS (We will learn how to cut the 10 1/2" background squares in class)
~Binding- ½ yd
~Backing- 3-1/2 yds

~Studio 180 Magic Wand or other diagonal marking tool
