Building IQ Designer Skills with Rosy

Rosy has created a cute new table runner. Choose a design for the center of the block and Rosy will show you how to embellish  and quilt around it using the IQ Designer features in the Baby Lock Solaris. You will complete the first block in class. If you bring a memory stick you may save your work and stitch out more blocks at home.

Rosy, a Baby Lock Solaris and Meridian owner, has continued to inspire us with her creations using her machine's IQ Designer. 

 List of Supplies for Table Runner:
1 – 10-5/8 X 16 Hoop (we can reduce the size to fit a smaller hoop)
1 – No Show Mesh stabilizer to fit the size of your hoop
1- 12” x 17” main fabric
1 – 12” x 12” fabric for the middle applique. You may want a contrast colour
1 – 11” x 16” batting
1 – 11” x 16” fusible presto stabilizer to stop from puckering
(Stitch N Time sells this item)
1 – 11” x 16” fusible fleece (optional) (Check with SNT staff for this item)
Needles – size 90/14
Several embroidery threads of your choice
Fully wound bobbins
Scissors/duck bill for middle applique
Ruler by George (SNT has this item)
Rotary cutter
Stick pins to hold the stabilizer from shifting (SNT may have this item)
Bring a 4x4 or 5x5 embroidery design for your middle applique section
Preparation:
Please fuse the presto stabilizer onto your main fabric
Next iron the fusible fleece onto your main fabric after the presto stabilizer
(this is optional if you decide to use the fusible fleece)
Then iron lightly the batting after the last step.
This will save us some time before we start the class
