Experience the ease of creating unique and decorative items with your serger. You will be using techniques like decorative chain/ cover stitch, flatlock wave stitch, inserting a zipper and more.This is a good "next step: project for those who have taken the new owners classes and are familiar with threading their serger but want to experience more.
1/3 yard Cotton Velveteen (or regular cotton)
3/4 yard Dupion silk -due to the direction of gathers(regular cotton will work as well,if you don't have Dupioni Silk)
1/4 yard Cork
Inside Fabric~ will show when clutch is open
1/3 yard cotton
Lining Fabric~will see when looking inside zipper pocket
1-16 inch zipper to coordinate with inside
1-fancy button or sparkley brooch/button
2 Decorative threads- 12 weight decorative thread
1- blend able thread,cotton or polyester
4- Maxi Lock serger thread
1-spool of regular thread to match cork
