Introduction to Ruler Work for Domestic Machines
Does free-motion quilting look scary? The Westalee Ruler System has opened up a whole new way of quilting on your home sewing machine. Learn to quilt with accuracy using the Westalee Rulers. In this class you will learn:
-Sewing machine set up- foot installation and tension
-Westalee ruler system- ruler foot attributes, template designs and functions
-Ruler Work Technique- template guidelines & quilt marking guide
The second half of the class will focus on getting comfortable with the movement and positioning of the Westalee Rulers. Practice:
-Straight lines
-Curves
-Clamshells
-and more!
